LIBRARY CLOSED DUE TO COVID-19 PANDEMIC
The Petawawa Public Library Board of Trustees regrets that it must close the Petawawa Public Library effective Monday, March 16th due to the COVID-19 pandemic. We have made
this decision to support community efforts to curb the spread of the COVID-19 virus and to ensure the health and well-being of our customers and staff which is our top priority.

No programs will take place and all Rotary Room bookings and exams are cancelled during the closure. All loans will be extended until the library officially re-opens. If you have any
materials currently on loan, please hold on to them and return them when the library reopens. You will not incur any late fees and any outstanding fines will not accumulate.Although the library will be closed, library staff will still be available to answer any questions via phone, email, and Facebook from Monday to Friday from 10 am to 5 pm.
We plan to reschedule all programs and refunds will be available when the library re-opens. We will also refund any fees paid for Rotary Room rentals. As always, all electronic resources including OverDrive e-books and e-audiobooks and Kanopy films will be accessible online at our website: petawawapubliclibrary.ca.
We will also temporarily offer new library card registration by telephone to allow new library customers to access online resources. Once the library reopens, customers will need to visit the library in person and show identification to pick up their new library cards.
This is a constantly evolving situation and we will continue to keep you updated as things change. We thank you for your support, patience and understanding during this unprecedented situation as we all work together to ensure the health and well-being of our community.
