Looking for an opportunity to explore your creative side, but need a little help? Join us at the library for Guided Craft Hour. We’ll provide the materials and some instructions so you can craft and have fun! Registration is required.

Join us to learn from local experts in our community about a variety of subject. Local Experts will happen in person at the Library on the second Wednesday of every month. On the fourth Wednesday of every month, Local Experts will take place virtually using Zoom. Sessions start at 6 PM.

May 11 (at the Library) – Healing with Therapy Dogs

Presented by Kat Forder and some furry special guests!
Could a therapy dog help you? Learn more about the roles therapy dogs play and engage in a writing/reading activity with some fur-friends.

Senior Social Club

Are you a senior who’s looking to meet new people and have some fun? Join us at the Senior Social Club! On May 13th, the theme is Vacation Memories (bring your photos and souvenirs) and on May 27th the theme is Classic Card Games. The program runs on the second and fourth Friday of every month. This is a drop-in program, but you can email us to let us know if you’re coming.

Adult Writers Club (waitlist only)

Join us at the library to explore the creative writing process and meet new people. This weekly program will explore different writing topics like perspective, vivid descriptions, poetry, and more! No writing experience is necessary. This program will run weekly on Saturday mornings at 10:30 AM from April 23rd to June 18th. Add your name to the waitlist by sending an email or filling out the Online Registration Form

New Book Club! Same Theme, Different Books!

The next meeting is on Wednesday, May 18 at 6 pm in the Rotary Room.

Each month will be a new theme but each participant will read a different book! We will get together to discuss the similarities and differences in the theme.

The next theme is celebrity autobiographies and there are some book selections at the circulation desk.

New members are ALWAYS welcome. If you haven’t read a book but you would like to attend and get the next selection, please email to say that you are attending.
