Adult Programs

Exciting news! Now you will be able to use Eventbrite to register for all adult programs! There are Eventbrite links under each program that requires a registration. Programs that were previously “drop in” style have changed to registration. All programs are free, unless stated otherwise, and you do not need to print a hardcopy of your ticket.

New Book Club! Same Theme, Different Books!

Each month will be a new theme but each participant will read a different book. We will get together to discuss the similarities and differences about the theme. The meeting will be in person, but a Zoom link will also be available.

September’s theme is CULTS.

Cult books are ready for pick up! You MUST have a current Petawawa Public Library card to borrow the book. We will meet on Wednesday, October 20 at 6 pm in the Rotary Room.

2021 Fall Frequent Reader Card

Tuesday August 31 -Saturday October 30

Come to the library to get your Frequent Reader card. You will get a hole punched for each book you read. Complete a card and you’ll be entered to win a prize! Complete as many cards as you can! Draw will be held on Wednesday November 3, 2021

Meditation with Kyla Romain

Come and learn how meditation can help your daily life! You don’t have to sit for hours and zen out to feel the amazing benefits of meditating. Kyla will show you how to use meditation techniques to enhance your world.

All Programs start at 6 pm. Bring a yoga mat, pillow, water, or any thing you feel you may need.

Craft, Crochet & Knitting Circle

This was previously a drop-in program but due to Covid rules, you must sign up to attend. Bring your project to work on & chat with like-minded crafters! Programs are 4 pm- 6 pm in the Rotary Room.

Make Your Own Morse Code Jewelry!

This program has been postponed. Use Morse Code to make something cool! We will learn about Morse Code and then translate the dots and dashes in to fun, stylish jewelry! Spots are limited.
