PETAWAWA PUBLIC LIBRARY GENEALOGY RESOURCES
Ancestry Library Edition is available to use on our Public Internet Stations or on your own laptop computer within the library only.
Our Online Catalogue provides titles on tracing your family tree. Enter "genealogy" in the search box and sift through the results. You can even just browse the library shelves in the 929.1 area for related books.
The Petawawa Public Library Digital Collection is a work in progress that makes photos, documents and audio files pertaining to the history of Petawawa and its people available online. (Contact us if you have content of your own to add).
Museum Passes may be borrowed from the library and permit free access to local museums where you can learn about the history of the area and the people who made it.
Our Interlibrary Loans Service provides access to useful resources from other libraries. When ordering birth notices, death notices etc., you must provide specific information regarding the source you need. Contact the Interlibrary Loan Department (613-687-2227 ext. 24) for complete instructions.
