The Library is accepting applications for a part-time library support clerk! If you’re friendly, detail-oriented and and community minded, this might be the job for you!
We are seeking a friendly, detail-oriented and community-minded person to support public and bibliographic services within the library. The incumbent will spend most of his/her time working at the service desk providing information and assistance to the public.
Qualifications:
- High school graduate.
- Six months of relevant experience.
- Demonstrated understanding and experience with various computer applications.
- Superior interpersonal and communication skills, excellent problem-solving and critical thinking abilities and a demonstrated love of reading and public libraries.
- Must provide a criminal record check with vulnerable sector screening.
- Current First Aid and CPR preferred.
Hours of Work: Minimum 8 hours per 2-week pay period.
Wage: $24.66 hourly starting wage.
This job is in scope of CUPE Local 24-03.
