Congratulations to Auni Milne of Sumack Loft, the designer of our logo!
The bear logo was submitted to LogoLounge, who selected it to be published in the next LogoLounge book. This book includes winning designs from around the world and is used by advertising agencies, communications companies, and graphic design boutiques as inspiration for their own work.
We’re thrilled for Auni, and excited that the logo representing the Petawawa Public Library will have such global exposure.
There’ll be no hibernation for this bear this winter!
The history of the Petawawa Public Library can be traced back to 1973 when what is now known as the Town of Petawawa consisted of two separate municipalities: the Village of Petawawa and the Township of Petawawa.
In 1997, with the amalgamation of the Township and Village, the new Town of Petawawa became home to the “Petawawa Public Library”.
Today, the Petawawa Public Library continues to grow. It employs full-time and part-time staff and continues to rely on the help of loyal volunteers to serve over 7000 active members.
