Borrowing

Wondering how long you can keep your items?

Depending on the item type, borrowing periods will vary. There is no limit on the number of books, talking books and magazines you may take out at one time, but other items have different terms. Some high demand materials are not renewable. See below for details.

In the past, libraries used a date stamp and ink pad to let you know when your books were due back.

Have you heard about our Fine Free Pilot?

Until March 2023, we are eliminating fines for items returned after their due date! At that time, the Library Board will review the project. If you have looked at paying fines as your way of supporting the Library, and are interested in another option, consider making a donation.

Confidentiality
