Petawawa Public Library supports learning and literacy for school-aged children, preschoolers and babies by sharing practical educational tools, homework help resources, and fun experiences that spark the imagination. Our collection includes board books, easy readers, picture books, chapter books, graphic novels, information books and audiobooks.

Library Cards for Teachers

Teachers may take out memberships with special privileges to support their classroom activities.

  • Items circulate for six weeks (no renewals)
  • Memberships are only valid during the current school year

To register, visit the Library in person with photo identification and documentation of your current address.

Class visit for schools and daycares:

Did you know you can schedule class visits to the library? We also offer student cards (good until the June 30th) so students can utilize our resources and check-out materials during class visits!

We can even visit your school/daycare for in person visits!
