Teen volunteers at the Petawawa Public Library help with shelf-reading, reading buddies, craft cutting, helping with special events and programming. Fill out the application form to get started.

How You Can Help

Shelf Reader

This position is responsible for organizing the bookshelves in the children’s department.

Program Assistant

This position is responsible for assisting special programs that run throughout the academic year.

Teen Advisory Committee (TAC)

Join this group of enthusiastic teens! This is your chance to make your voice heard in the community and participate in some great programs and events.

Craft Cutter

This volunteer position is responsible for assisting the Children’s and Teen Services Technician and occasionally the Youth Programming Technician prepare crafts for upcoming programs and events.

Summer Volunteer

This volunteer position is responsible for assisting staff run children’s programs run throughout the summer. This position requires a 4-week commitment.
