Need a Library Card?

You’ll need to use a Library card for some things at the Library, like borrowing books, using our computers, and using our digital resources. If you don’t have one, ask your parent or guardian to visit the Library. If they already have a card, we can easily make up a card for you using the information in their account. If they don’t, they will need to visit the Library with their photo ID. Details are on our Membership page.

Using Our Kids’ Computers

We have computers just for kids. Use your library card number to log in, or ask us for a guest pass.

If you don’t have a library card, come in with your parent or guardian to sign up and start borrowing. Cards are free for people who live in Petawawa.

The Library has computers for all ages.

Using Our Early Literacy Computer

Our Early Literacy Station is loaded with fun programs. You’ll find puzzles, games, and stories for little ones as young as 2 years old. Look for the computer with the bright, colourful keyboard and headphones. It has a touch screen too!
